Parental Consent and Age Policy
Parental Consent and Age Policy
Security is fundamental with our approach to safety and privacy, which is why we destroy conversations the moment you leave the chat with Tell Sid, in addition to everything else we do.

1. Minimum age
Tell Sid is designed for people aged 13 or over. If you are under 13, please do not create an account or use the service.
2. How we ask your age
During sign-up we show a simple age question:
“I am 13 or over.”
You must be of age before proceeding.
3. Encouraging parental involvement
We believe younger teens benefit when a parent or trusted adult is in the loop. We therefore:
Suggest using a parent’s e-mail address for the account if you are under 16.
Send a welcome e-mail to that address, saying the person is using Tell Sid and linking to simplified versions of the Privacy Notice, Safety Policy and these age rules.
Make it easy for a parent to delete the account by replying to the welcome e-mail or writing to hello@insinto.ai.
4. No formal parental-consent workflow (yet)
Because Tell Sid does not knowingly accept users under 13, we do not run a COPPA-style parental-verification process. If future product changes require us to serve under-13s, we will implement a robust consent mechanism first.
5. What happens if we learn a user is under 13
We immediately deactivate the account.
Any transient data linked to that session is deleted.
We e-mail the address on file explaining what happened and how to ask questions or raise concerns.
6. Parents’ rights
Parents or legal guardians can, at any time:
Ask what data we hold about their child.
Request deletion of that data and closure of the account.
Report safety concerns or abusive content.
Simply e-mail hello@insinto.ai with the child’s account e-mail and we will respond within one UK working day.
7. Future changes
We review this policy at least once a year and whenever regulations or product features change. Material updates will be flagged in the app and in our Trust Centre 30 days before they take effect.
